The new library, built on the idea of “borrow a book, return a book,” brings an opportunity for people of all ages to “live in the life” of children with special needs.

Founded with the belief that every child deserves a bright future, Children Are Our Future (childrenrourfuture.org) offers educational support, family outreach programs, and community development projects across Volusia County. The share library initiative is the latest in a series of programs aimed at featuring books about children with special needs and hopes it works as a tool for those that don’t have an understanding of what these children deal with in their everyday lives.
